We are incredibly excited to be attending the World of Coffee in Amsterdam this week.
This event is the absolute pinnacle of coffee and an essential event for coffee professionals with coffee roasters, baristas, green buyers and competitors travelling from all over the world to attend and experience the latest products, innovations, tastings and much more. This event is also the venue for the prestigious 2018 World Barista Championship where our Head of Coffee, Joshua Tarlo, is competing representing Origin and the UK after winning the UK Barista Championships back in April.
2018 WORLD BARISTA CHAMPIONSHIP

An expected 60 champions from around the globe will compete for the title of 2018 World Barista Champion. COFFEE
As well as our full coffee roster that will be available on filter, we are brewing a special coffee on espresso this week to celebrate the World of Coffee.
La Huella is a natural Nicaraguan coffee produced by the Miersich family. The farm is located near the city of Matagalpa, at an elevation of 1,400 meters above sea level. Last year we cupped La Huella and were utterly blown away by it. It is a completely vibrant and complex cup that pushes the boundaries of what we expect from coffee.
La Huella translates as ‘the footprint’ in Spanish. It sits on a small plateau inside the Los Altos farm which is at the heart of so much of what we do.
The World of Coffee takes place at RAI Amsterdam Hall, from 21 - 23 June.
